A fantastic day everyone!
It's Wednesday the 9th of November and the first single of Imaginaerum called "Storytime" is finally out today. It's part 1 of a very long homecoming, 4 years in the making. Makes me feel a bit sad, fairly relieved and ultimately proud. Sad that a certain journey is finally coming to an end, relieved that everything worked out beautifully, and proud of the band members' and the fellow imagineers' effort in getting this colossal project together. Thank you.
I saw the first edits of Imaginaerum The Movie a week ago. Stobe and Mathieu have been working with the edits a few weeks now and the parts I saw were very convincing. The demo scores (by the tech wizard Petri Alanko) are working out wonderfully, even though we still need to toy around with them quite a bit. The special effects guys have also begun their work, so once we get all these layers together some truly mind blowing movie magic will be born. Basically now we just have to wait patiently and try not to breathe too much into their backs, and let them do their magic.
In the meanwhile, loads of promo and rehearsals still to be done.

Un fantástico día a todos!
Es miércoles 9 de noviembre y el primer sencillo de Imaginaerum llamado "Storytime" finalmente salió hoy. Es la parte uno de un largo regreso a casa, 4 años en la fabricación. Me hace sentir un poco triste, bastante aliviado y orgulloso en última instancia. Es triste que un cierto viaje está llegando a su fin, aliviado de que todo salió de maravilla, y orgulloso del esfuerzo de los miembros de la banda y los compañeros imaginadores para conseguir este colosal proyecto juntos. Gracias.
Vi la primera edición de Imaginaerum La película hace una semana. Stobe y Mathieu han estado trabajando con las ediciones desde hace unas semanas y las partes que vi fueron muy convincentes. Las partituras de muestra (por el asistente técnico Petri Alanko) están trabajando de maravilla, a pesar de que todavía tenemos para jugar con ellos un poco. Los encargados de efectos especiales también han comenzado su trabajo, por lo que una vez que tengamos todas estas capas juntas, la magia verdaderamente alucinante del cine va a nacer. Básicamente, ahora sólo tenemos que esperar con paciencia y trate de no respirar demasiado en sus espaldas, y dejar que ellos hagan su magia.
Mientras tanto, un montón de promocionales y ensayos que hay por hacer.
Momentos tan emocionantes.
